Human Resources Director

Position Overview: As the Human Resources Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our HR strategy to support our organization's mission and goals. You will lead a team responsible for all aspects of HR management, from recruitment and talent management to compliance and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and strategy.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives to ensure compliance and support talent strategy.
  • Manage all aspects of HR administration, including compensation, benefits, performance management, and training.
  • Identify staffing needs and develop best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee concerns and support employer interaction with unions.
  • Oversee HR audits and maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Supervise departmental workflow, handle disciplinary actions, and recruit and train new staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of HR management-level experience required.
  • Experience with federal government contracting is essential.
  • Strategic thinking and effective communication skills are a must.
  • Experience with multi-state and multi-location employee management required.
  • ANC or Tribal Organization experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.

Performance Standards: Success in this role will be measured by your ability to effectively resolve HR challenges, uphold company policies, and contribute to overall client satisfaction. Performance will be evaluated based on various factors, including attendance, quality of work, and adherence to company standards.
